Excuse me, but I believe your sleeping pattern is the wrong way round.

Ahhh guys mood in the flat is pretty low today. Pretty much everyones money has been taken out to pay for our accommodation, therefore no one has money to go out or do anything to lift spirits! Just to add to the weirdness of the flat mood my sleeping pattern has completely turned on its head. For example, I decided to clean out my bedroom and rearrange my wardrobe at six o clock this morning and I managed to fall at sleep at 7.20 am, alas I woke up today at 5.20 pm! It's just not right

Anywho my outfit is just a really, really simple outfit to go shopping in, here goes:
Red leapord print scarf- £20 oasis. Seems pretty expensive looking back on it. As loads of scarves are sold like this for around £4 in Primark, but I did get the scarf around three years ago and it seemed really cool because I thought it would look like a Marc Jacobs scarf!
Simple grey t-shirt, which I sometimes sleep in- £20 Urban outfitters. This t-shirt is really cool because it has a heart shaped pocket on the breast area. Just a really nice little added detail :)
The ever trusty Jeggings- £20 Dorothy Perkins.
Black blazer- Warehouse.
Handbag- French  Connection

Up In The Air!

Hey guys. Here is my outfit that I wore to Uni today :)
pretty basic, casual daywear. My leather jacket is from River Island, which I purchased in the sale for £20.  My silk, cream vest is a great purchase that I got around three years ago from H and M. I really can't remember the price though, sorry! I'm also wearing a really cool orange, medallion style necklace that I purchased from a local vintage market, £12. It makes me look like a bit of a pirate! My black jeggings are from Dorothy Perkins, which my lovely mother bought me for Christmas and my shoes aren't so good to be honest. I bought them on Monday from River Island, £50 and they are already looking beaten up and a bit shabby. I wore them on a night out and at the front of the shoe there are silver metal accents on, but when I was dancing the bit of metal from the front of the shoe came loose, so I had to superglue it back on. Boo!

Also got my haircut today and it was basically a simple trim and it cost me £46, is it just me or is that pretty expensive for a trim?

DISASTER!

Hey guys! I am literally so sorry for the lack of posts in the past week. The reason for this is my ideotic self loosing my new camera. My mum bought me the camera for Christmas and I have already lost it. I kept putting off posting thinking I would find it, but you know how it is when your highly intoxicated taking many pictures of random things and then it suddenly vanishes. This will hopefully be the only time without putting an up to date picture on.

So This image of myself last summer. I had just come back from Greece, so Im looking really tanned which makes me so depressed. The white dress is from a boutique in Spain. The blazer is a sequinned number from warehouse which I bought for £75. The shoes are a  pair of cheapies from the ever faithful new look £25.

Hope you enjoyed taking a short trip down memory lane with me.

"You know why we are here. It's about the incident involving a male cheese grating the wall."

I know I haven't posted anyting new in a week and I apologise greatly for that. I have been a bit ill and uni has been a bit hectic this week. I have realised that I have done too many pictures of moi and my outfits, so here is an injection of something a bit new. This is my friend Joe. I have been friends with Joe since I was eight years old and he is the lovely. Joe tends to stick to black. Thats just the way he rolls and I love it. Everything Joe is wearing in this image and I mean everything is from Topman. I feel pretty sorry for Joe because men in general don't have that many great places to shop, thus all his gear is Topman. He works it though :)

Anywho I have another random story to tell you. I got a letter from University before leaving for the christmas break saying that when we all got back we would have to attend a meeting in our kitchen about some damages to a wall. I assumed it would be damages to a wall inside out flat area. So we had the meeting on Thursday morning everyone decided to wear their pyjamas to the meeting apart from me. The kitchen was a mess, because we are just a messy flat really.

This overly enthusiastic woman who acted like she should have been on a childrens t.v programme sat at our messy kitchen table and told us that a highly intoxicated male was seen stumbling out of our flat on November 7th with cheese grater in hand and decided to cheese grate the edge of the wall. I had a look at the damage and you wouldn't even class it as damage I literally had to run my finger across the edge of the wall to see that bits of paint had been taken off.  Then she goes on to give us a police style investigation of why this happened- we don't know why the boy cheese grated the wall woman, we wasn't with him. What his name was- we don't know he doesn't go to university and that was the first and last time we saw him. Why we had people over- This is University you stupid bint of course we are going to have people round our flat kitchen from time to time. She then told us that because we couldn't tell them the guys name that the cost of "plastering" would be given to our flat. PLATERING! bloody plastering I could have got some poster paint and painted over the "damage" in two minutes!

On a lighter note please leave lovely comments :)

Lemsip lodged in the throat.

Hey guys this is my outfit I wore for a night out. I know it looks pretty casual, but I pretty much only go out to student bars and you really don't need to dress up for these type of places. Anywho my sequinned skirt is absoloutely amazing and its from T.K Maxx, which my mama bought me so im not too sure on cost. Sorry! There is something really weird about T.K Maxx. It's like you have to delve into a massive pile of shite items to find something good, but when you find something good it is really good! e.g. my fab skirt!
My shirt is just an old plaid shirt from Topshop £24.99, probably cheaper if you look online for it now. My leather jacket is a really cool studded number from that I got from the River Island sale a few weeks ago.

The reason for the random title of this blog is a really weird experience that I wish to share with you, here goes. I woke up on my first morning of being back at uni feeling highly hungover and my nose was really blocked and I just wasn't feeling good, so I took two lemsip tablets down with a glass of water. As I lay my head back on my soft, squishy pillow I felt an awkward and slightly painful feeling in my throat. I sat up and felt something move in there. THE LEMSIP HADN'T GONE DOWN! oh my word guys I haven't had such an umcomfortable feeling in all my life. I drank three pints of water in an attempt to get it down, but that sucker wasn't budging. So just a word of warning guys. Lemsip tablets are deadly.

Would just like to apologise for the massive load of toilet rolls behind me, but i'm a university student and you have to stock up on these things. I would also like to apologize for the glare from the sequin, oh and the fact you can see my blackberry at the bottom there. Just apologizing for the shit picture really.

The coat is my saviour

Hey guys. In this picture I am wearing a massive, black faux fur coat, which is vintage. Vintage meaning I stole it out of my mother's wardrobe. I wish I could tell you where it is from, but I honestly haven't got the foggiest. The reason for the awful quality of the photo, is due to the awful lighting in my University bedroom. Also, the reason for myself wearing a massive fur coat in my bedroom is due to the utterly, utterly crap heating in my little uni room. I live in Southampton and the weather here is -3/4, so I have to wear this is in my bedroom to keep me warm, because I literally have no heating. I slept in this coat last nigh too. The heating used in all our dorm rooms is just completely bewildering. It uses a sensor, therefore the heating only comes on when we are moving about in our rooms. Obviously the poeple/person who invented this piece of shite didn't think that humans need heating when they are sat watching t.v, sat at their desk working, or sleeping in bed etc, so this coat really is literally a lifesaver. I also find it funny that in summer when we are really hot and if we decide to walk from one side of the room to the other the heating will come on, even if we didn't want it to! Anyway i'm pretty sure I would have froze to death and then you lovely people wouldn't be able to read my random posts. GOD SAVE THE FUR COAT. I might add that I'm looking very pale and just not good. I blame that on the cold weather too. I'd also been travelling all day!
I'll just get back to waving my hand at 5 minute intervals infront of this blood heat sensor

Slipping out of the shower.

Hey guys just writing a quick post here of a look I wore yesterday. I had a really nice outfit planned for today that I was going to take some snaps of and upload for you guys, but a very harrowing incident happened involving myself, a shower and my bathroom floor. Basically I slipped getting out of the shower and have pulled the right side of my body and my ribs are in agony! I have been bound to my bed and haven't dared to entire the scene of the crime, where my life was almost taken earlier today.

Sorry for the quality of the images guys. It was just a quick photo sesh taken on my mama's macbook, but I made the images look that little bit better by giving them a black and white effect, because you know, I care. Anyway my outfit in the images are really basic day out clothes. I wore a dark green shift dress from French Connection £30. My cardigan is really nice and I have had it for years and it's really comfy. It's a dark greeny/brown colour which you can't really see, due to my lame attempt at editing. The cardigan is from a sale I got at Topshop years ago. My waist belt has a really cool leopard on in it, which I realise is a cheap imitation of a designer product, but I don't care. I love it. My sunglasses were also stolen from my dear Mother. Thanks Mum! and they are from warehouse, costing £20. I know you can't see much of the outfit from the image but I finished the look off with thick, black tights and some patent black ballet pumps.

Me, myself and I.

This is me. Me, being Natasha Smith. Hello there! Just thought I would post a view images of myself early on in the blog, so that you can get a taster of my personal style and get a better feeling for who I am. Not much point of me expecting people to read my blog and try to get a feel from where I'm coming from with my opinions and fashion likes if you don't really know who I am and what my style is. This is the kind of outfit I wear to casual everyday events. I'm wearing a lovely black blazer from Warehouse. I got it in the sale it went down from £80 to £40. The blazer is really lovely I would have probably have paid £80 pounds for it, so it was extra nice when I got it for half price. The inside of the jacket is a silky material so feels really nice against the skin and it has black buttons coming up the side of both sleeves. The jacket also randomly has two pockets on one side of the jacket and one on the oter side! Strange. I got the "snood," as a christmas present from my mother, but I told her I wanted it and where to purchase it from. The snood is from Dorothy Perkins and cost £15. Slightly embarassing story of my nanna telling me this item is pronounced, "snooood," and not in my northern accent of "snud," so now I know folks. I have been addicted to the snood and I think I have worn it nearly everyday since I got it. I recommend them guys. They look chic and alternative, as well as keeping you warm and comfy. Result!  My cream blouse/top was actually a dress from Topshop, but my first ever washing and drying experience at Uni turned it into a blouse, but all is good, as I prefer it as a blouse. I'm really into cream blouses/vest/dresses at the minute. My jeggings are the first every pair of jeggings I bought at £20 and I have grown so attatched to them. I think I wear them more than jeans, because they are tighter, thus making the derriere look that little bit more peachy ;) My shoes are from New look and have a slight heel, as I am one of those girls that is born with the inadequacy of being able to walk in heels. I just can't do it. These heels are extremely comfortable and I wear them on nights out, as well as casual day events. The heels cost £25 pounds from New Look. Hurray!

Friday 1 January 2010

This is Kim. Kim has been my best friend for about six or seven years now. Her style is the epitomy of urban/casual style. Her light blue jeans are from Primark. I asked her if they were from Topshop and she told me they were from Primark. Which I was pleasently surprised about. Cheap jeans that look expensive, can't go wrong. Her boots are in all the high street shops right now and look amazing for women who have a more androgynous style. Kims biker boots are from International and cost £30. Her t-shirt is really arty. At first glance it looks to be a typical leopard print, but I pointed out to her after having a look at her chest that their is a tigers face hidden in the leopard print, which she didn't even notice when she bought it. The t-shirt is from the ever dependable, Topshop. The leopard print on a dark material is perfect for people who are feeling less daring and just prefer a more casual approach to their style. Kim's hoodie is from H and M and pairs really well with her biker boots and gives a casual look a tough and fashion forward edge.
